I started creating photographs with a Kodak "Brownie" camera that my grandmother gave to me when I was 8 years old and I immediately fell in love with the art form.
When I was 12, my dad gave me my first 35mm camera, an Argus C3 which I still have.
I built my first darkroom when I was 14 years old and took my first formal education in developing and printing my own work.
I turned "professional" on a part-time basis in 1974 after entering into a very long love affair with Nikon cameras (beginning with an F2-SB).
Now over 30 years later, after retiring from a career in the fire service, I am finally able to work full time doing what I love most (besides my wonderful family), creating, restoring, and preserving memories for all time.
I will periodically post samples of whatever I am doing. Please check back occassionally and tell your friends if you like my work.
Besides my other areas of photographic expertise, I specialize in LDS Weddings and Events and will travel most anywhere to meet your needs.
To me, photography is a miracle.
